Expansion Vessels

An adequately sized expansion vessel is essential to protect sealed systems during stagnation conditions when extremely high temperatures can be generated in the collector circuit. All our expansion vessels are suitable for use in Glycol filled systems.

Expansion Vessel Connection Set

To make life easier for the installer, we stock an expansion vessel mounting bracket with quick release coupling- no need to drain the system down in order to service the expansion vessel.

Air Scoop

All brass construction with connection for automatic air vent. The air scoop allows the air vent to be installed internally at low level.

Antifreeze

Developed specifically for the solar industry by Tyforop GmbH in Germany, Tyfocor has a continuous temperature capacity of 170 deg. c. Tyfocor L is an antifreeze concentrate for new and exisiting systems. The ratio can be adjusted on site by the installer. Tyfocor LS is ready mixed antifreeze suitable for new systems and affords protection to -28 deg. C. Tyfocor GLS. Developed specifically for all glass vacuum tube collectors, GLS contains an additive to prevent etching of the internal glass surface.
